100 Quilts for Kids

I'm so glad summer has been warm and sunny this year.  It has given me the inspiration to get the rest of the quilts for Project Linus quilted and ready to drop off.  As part of the area's Project Linus's group I really enjoy making quilts and knowing some boy or girl will love them.

This quilt was so fun and fast to make.  It's a True Lovers Knot and each block has five pieces in it.

I made two of these two-tone Bear's Claw.  My daughter made the blocks and I put them together.

The light blue wonky quilt was made for the Free Motion Quilting project with Leah Day.  I used the same quilt pattern for Angela Walter's July lesson  on the Free Motion Quilt Challenge for the dark blue quilt.  These were both fun to make and I can just see some little boy enjoying them.
This lovely girl started out as a pillow top but I appliqued her on to a panel and made a quilt of her instead.  Had fun using many of the free-motion quilting designs I've learned lately for the different areas.
